Giants Beat Patriots, 21-17, Win Super Bowl XLVI

Hakeem Nicks had a big night, paving the way to a victory for the Giants over the Patriots, 21-17 in Indianapolis. With the victory, New York is the champion of Super Bowl XLVI.

Eli Manning completed the game 30 for 40 with 296 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. Tom Brady went 27 of 41 with 276 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick for the Patriots.

Ahmad Bradshaw ran for 72 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown in addition to two receptions for 19 yards. Nicks was a highlight, pulling in 10 balls for 109 yards.

The New York defense gave up 83 yards rushing and 266 passing. They brought down Brady for two sacks.

Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had a big day with 67 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Wes Welker also had a good game with 60 receiving yards and 21 rushing.
